What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Experience of teaching students Business and Economics across KS4 to KS5 ✓
  • Raising the achievement of all students, irrespective of starting points, with a proven track record of improving performance outcomes for all ✓
  • Delivering extra-curricular activities ✓
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships with colleagues and students ✓
  • Using ICT to support learning and teaching ✓
  • Active involvement in school-wide provision or initiatives ✓
  • Using data to inform planning and future developments ✓ Monitoring, evaluating and reviewing your teaching to improve outcomes for students ✓
  • Willingness to teach/develop skills to teach Economics to KS5 ✓

What the school offers its staff

We have two full-time network technicians, one full-time network manager and one IT apprentice who manage our network independently. There are eight computer rooms as well as a number of researchbays available for student use. Each member of staff is provided with a laptop for school use. We run Windows 10 with Office 2016 and Microsoft Office on all workstations.
