Teacher of Business & Computing job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Teacher of Business & Computing with energy, intellectual capacity, and determination to join our successful and popular department. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives, aspirations, and opportunities of our young people.

The successful candidate will be a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong commitment to high standards of teaching and learning. You will have experience of delivering a range of Business and/or IT/Computing qualifications up to Key Stage 5 and be confident in using creative and engaging strategies to support all learners.

As a Teacher of Business & Computing, you will:

Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 to KS5

Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of Business and Computing

Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a commitment to academic excellence

Contribute to the continued success and development of the department

We are looking for someone who:

Is an excellent classroom practitioner

Has a passion for Business Studies and/or Computing

Is committed to raising achievement and delivering outstanding outcomes

Has the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities

Chatham Grammar (CG) is a selective girls’ academy for students aged 11-19, with a mixed sixth form, sponsored by the University of Kent. From September 2026, CG will begin its transition to a fully coeducational academy by welcoming boys into Year 7.
