Strood Academy is seeking to appoint a forward thinking and enthusiastic Teacher of Business and Enterprise from January 2022 (an interest in KS3 Computing is desirable). You will be part of an experienced, supportive department who work collaboratively; sharing ideas and delivering innovative teaching to support and improve learning.

We are looking for a dynamic, emotionally intelligent and innovative teacher to join a supportive team that is committed to improving the life chances of young people. Joining Strood Academy will enable you to work with like-minded colleagues who share your goals and ambitions.

The ideal candidate will specialise in Business and Enterprise at KS4 and KS5 and have a desire to support Computing at KS3. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher to join an Academy which is committed to providing high quality professional development opportunities and support the Business and IT team on its journey to excellence.

The basis of this is role is permanent, offering MPS/UPS.

Working for Strood Academy: Since opening in 2009, our academy has transformed the educational opportunities and outcomes for girls and boys in Strood. The improvement in academic performance has been driven by a talented and committed workforce, the hard work of our students, and support from parents and our community. Our new buildings in Carnation Road were designed in partnership with Nicholas Hare and built by BAM as our main contractor at a cost of £26m. They opened in September 2012 and have outstanding learning environments and outside play areas as well as fantastic sports facilities.
