Required for an April or September 2023 start, we are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, highly motivated & enthusiastic Teacher of Business. The successful candidate will join a highly successful department with historic strong exam outcomes. Courses currently offered include OCR Cambridge National in Enterprise & Marketing (Lv1/2), AQA GCSE Economics, Edexcel A Level Business, and LIBF Diploma in Financial Studies. It is also hoped the department will offer AQA A Level Economics, experience of teaching this would be desirable. Progress 8 data regularly ranks the Business/Economics courses in the top 3 annually, with students often achieving or exceeding their target grades.
The department is looking for a candidate who will bring enterprise to life through a range of extra-curricular opportunities. In the past the department have offered KS3 Business Club, KS5 Young Enterprise, trips and visits with national and international companies, alongside working with the Lead on Oracy to collaborate with The Economist on their Topical Talk series.
