What skills and experience we're looking for
For September 2024 we wish to appoint a Teacher of Business to join a highly successful department. We are looking for a talented classroom practitioner who can be creative, dynamic and can communicate their passion to all students, as well as teach using a student-centred approach. All classes are mixed ability, so the successful candidate will need to differentiate in order to support and stretch students. We are looking to appoint a team player who can communicate an enthusiasm and depth of subject knowledge, forming positive relationships with the students they teach. The successful candidate will work alongside other experienced teachers and therefore this post would be suitable for ECTs as well as more experienced teachers.
We are looking to appoint a teacher who has the ability and enthusiasm to contribute to the delivery of Business at KS4 and KS5; the ability to teach Business securely to KS5 is desirable. We are however open to discussing greater flexibility with outstanding candidates. Please do get in touch if you feel this applies to you.
Strong subject knowledge is obviously crucial but a commitment to the school’s philosophy, a passion for the subject and a desire to work in an innovative and supportive team are also vital. Please make your FTE preference clear in your application.
