Teacher of Business Studies and KS3 Computing job summary

Part time (0.6) teacher of Business Studies and partial teaching of KS3 Computing required September 2019. Permanent position.

We are seeking a well-qualified and successful teacher of Business Studies who has the energy and vision to develop this subject. You will be joining a well-established subject team who both support and learn from each other.

The Business, Economics and Enterprise Department are both successful and dynamic working environments, with a team who have high expectations of both students and their staff.

Current courses are delivered to KS4 – Edexcel, and KS5 – AQA in Business Studies.

Results in 2018 were: 58% A* - C GCSE Business; 52% A* - B and 87% A*- C A Level Business.

It is expected that the successful candidate will have the ability to teach across both Key Stage 4 and 5 in Business Studies as well as have the ability to deliver Computing to KS3.
