Teacher of Business Studies job summary

Newlands is a successful and over-subscribed girls’ 11-18 comprehensive school with a strong reputation for academic achievement. During our last Ofsted inspection (October 2018) we were graded as outstanding.

Our excellent GCSE results put us consistently in the top 10% of schools nationwide with 89% achieving passes in both Maths and English. We also have an outstanding success rate at A-Level with a 100% pass rate and 89% at Grades A*-C.

In the 2019 exams, 71% of students achieved 9-5 in GCSE Business Studies. 100% of students passed Business Studies A-Level with 73% A*-C. 100% of students passed their L3 BTEC Diploma with 83% achieving a Merit or above.

We are seeking to appoint from September 2022 an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Business Studies. The post would be suitable for an ECT as well as a more experienced applicant.
