The Governors of Holy Trinity School wish to appoint an NQT Teacher to the post of Teacher of Business. This post presents a good opportunity for a newly qualified practitioner to join a successful department, and to develop their career in a good school.

Applicants will need to demonstrate their commitment to the teaching of Business. We require practitioners who have the enthusiasm, skill and ability to make a positive contribution to this motivated team, including a willingness to set up enterprise links. The successful candidate will be committed to teaching across the 11-18 range, ideally having experience of teaching both A level and BTEC courses.

The Business department at Holy Trinity School is a forward-moving department which is keen to expand and develop the teaching of Business. The department forms part of the Computing & Business faculty although Business has an independent identity within this. We offer a range of courses including, A level and BTEC Business, GCSE Business and BTEC Enterprise. GCSE Business is a popular subject and we currently have two GCSE groups. A level Business has good results allowing students to go on to secure places on Business/ Economics degrees.

Applicants will need to demonstrate their commitment to excellent teaching and learning; to securing good or better outcomes for students; to developing student potential and to promoting the study of the subject in the 6th form.

In addition to teaching your primary and possibly a secondary subject across ages 11 to 18 there is an expectation that you may teach other subjects as directed in order to facilitate the delivery of the curriculum. Relevant support will be offered.

The school is an easy commute via public transport from Brighton, and from other parts of East or West Sussex and from Surrey and many staff operate car share schemes.
