Teacher of Business Studies job summary
Are you a passionate and driven Business Studies teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity?
If you have a love for teaching, a commitment to student success, and the ability to bring business concepts to life in the classroom, we’d love to hear from you!
We are seeking an inspirational Teacher of Business Studies with strong subject knowledge to join our highly successful and dedicated Business and Economics Department. You’ll be part of a team of talented and committed practitioners, working collaboratively to create the best possible learning experience for our pupils.
Business Studies is one of the most popular subjects at Wednesfield Academy, and we proudly offer EDEXCEL GCSE, A-Level Business, and A-Level Economics. Our well-established curriculum is built on clear, consistent learning routines and evidence-based teaching principles that maximise student progress allowing teachers to focus on delivering high quality lessons.
With the highest expectations of pupils’ behaviour and effort, and we don’t accept excuses. Our teachers work very hard, but they only ever do work which is going to make a difference for our pupils.
If you’re ready to make a real difference and thrive in a supportive, forward-thinking environment, we’d love to welcome you to Wednesfield Academy.
To really inspire the next generation of confident, successful and resilient learners you need an environment with the right conditions. You need an environment where pupils genuinely want to learn. An environment in which your colleagues are as geeky about your subject as you are. These are the conditions that we can provide for practitioners who join us at Wednesfield Academy. As Ofsted recognised, we have worked together to “develop a highly ambitious and well-sequenced curriculum” (Feb 25).
We want people who are similarly driven. We want people who will not only grow the next generation but people who are also eager to take every opportunity to grow themselves. We offer superb professional development opportunities, including the full suite of NPQs. We have “a well-thought-out professional development programme for staff” (Ofsted Feb 25) and work hard as a team.
