Teacher of Business Studies (with opportunity for responsibility) job summary

 We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional qualified teacher of Business Studies to work within a talented, highly motivated and supportive team within our Business Studies Department. This role is also suitable for NQTs.

This role is suitable for NQTs or experienced teachers, with a TLR available for appropriately experienced and qualified candidates.

What we are looking for

We look for talented individuals who want to be a part of transforming education in London, and helping create exceptional places of learning. The successful candidate will:
  •  Be a high calibre, experienced practitioner who can teach all students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
  • Have experience of teaching GCSE, A Level and Vocational Business Studies courses
  • Be able to show a strong track record of raising student attainment through their teaching.
  • Have the capacity to develop the subject curriculum and bring innovative ideas to the classroom.
  • Have excellent subject knowledge and a strong classroom presence.
  • Show ambition and drive to develop professionally.
  • Demonstrate the capacity and confidence to lead a team and hold staff to account.
  • Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
