WAT is a happy, successful Trust and we are seeking to appoint someone to join our team and make a positive impact on students’ lives. Staff here are supportive, caring and committed to a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. As a new member of staff, you can expect a warm welcome and a wide range of CPD opportunities to develop your practice and career.

We are seeking an inspirational, well-qualified and dynamic Business Studies teacher to join our thriving and supportive Business, Economics and Finance department. Applicants must possess graduate subject knowledge, have high expectations, be creative and inspirational, and have demonstrated success at all Key Stages, particularly at BTEC and A Level.

Business Studies is taught in Year 9 as an option subject and across Key Stages 4 & 5. It is one of the most popular subject choices for students within the Trust. In the Sixth Form options available broaden further with AQA A Level Business, BTEC National Diploma, Edexcel Economics and LIBF Finance qualifications. In recent years the department has grown significantly and has achieved some very promising results. The supportive student culture created by the department has developed a positive ethos amongst students and there are a high number of students currently studying our subjects. Many students continue to study Business or Economics at University or progress to Apprenticeship programmes with prestigious employers.

This is an exciting opportunity for an NQT or experienced teacher who is committed to enabling all students to achieve the very best they can and is dedicated to their own professional development.

Closing Date: Open until filled. Please note that we will be running this as a rolling recruitment and selection process during the recruitment campaign, therefore please submit your application at your earliest opportunity.
