While planning is centralised to promote collaboration, teachers are encouraged to adapt materials and teaching approaches to best serve their classes. At Key Stage 4 and 5, students benefit from experienced teachers who employ effective teaching strategies, including retrieval practice, to prepare them thoroughly for their exams.

Recent GCSE results reflect the dedication of our staff and the progress of our students, with Progress 8 reaching its highest point in the Academy's history. Notably, the gaps between the progress of SEN and Pupil Premium students continue to narrow, demonstrating our commitment to inclusive education and academic excellence.

Business Studies, Computer science and IT subjects are popular choices among our students, highlighting the importance of passionate and skilled educators in our department. Currently, we have multiple Year 11 classes in Business Studies, IT and Computer Science showcasing the demand for these subjects and the opportunities for impactful teaching.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a motivated individual with a strong passion for learning and excellent interpersonal skills.
