Do you have a passion for Business? Do you love working with young people? Do you have a creative and innovative approach to teaching, learning and assessment? If the answer is yes then we have an exciting opportunity for you.

Due to the popularity and demand across our Business offering, S6C is recruiting a new teacher of Business (with ESports) to start in September 2023. This role will be delivering modules across:

-BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business

-BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Esports

As well as our popular Business offering, Esports is an exciting course being offered by S6C; entering the third year of delivery, we are looking for someone to work with our existing Team teaching units on areas including social media, marketing, and assisting our Creative team in delivering aspects of video production and games design.

You will be well supported as part of a growing and flourishing teaching team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone wanting to work in a growing college which has the potential to expand further over the coming years. The post-holder will be required to be innovative, flexible and willing to go the extra mile for our students.

We are willing to consider NQTs.

S6C is a vibrant, fun and inspirational centre of excellence where a passion for new technologies permeates all aspects of college life.

In September 2014, S6C opened its doors to the young people of Salisbury and surrounding areas. Prior to this, 40% of students seeking an A level education had to travel out of Wiltshire. We currently have 340 students and we are expecting to grow to 360+ next year.

In August 2018, we joined the Magna Learning Partnership, a multi-academy trust which comprises of a number of our feeder schools. We are working across the MAT, with the aim that over 50% of the young people leaving year 11 will remain within the MLP family for their post-16 education.
