Teacher of Chemistry job summary
Required for September 2021. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring and dedicated teacher of Chemistry, to join an outstanding team of practitioners. Candidates wishing to apply should have a passion for their subject and the ability to teach to GCSE and Advanced level. Applications from experienced teachers and NQTs will be considered.
Our students routinely achieve excellent results. In 2019, 86% of students achieved grade 4+ in GCSE Combined Science, 100% in GCSE Biology, 92% in GCSE Chemistry and 98% in GCSE Physics. Biology, Physics and Chemistry are popular at Advanced level and many students go on to study Science at Higher Education.
This post may be suitable for a Newly Qualified Teacher. Potential candidates may also wish to know that our admissions policy enables the school to prioritise the admission of children of staff recruited to posts in which there is a demonstrable skill shortage.

Ranelagh is an 11-18 coeducational, Anglican Academy (converter) which is oversubscribed and has an excellent reputation for academic achievement and positive school ethos.
