Teacher of Chemistry job summary

Required for September 2020. The Academy Council of this outstanding, high achieving and oversubscribed Catholic Voluntary Academy seek to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and highly motivated Teacher of Chemistry to teach across all key stages. Chemistry is a highly popular option at Key Stage 4 and A level and you will work with a team of highly committed staff. Applications from NQTs or more experienced teacher are welcomed.

St. Mary’s is a popular and highly successful school situated on the North West fringe of Leeds, close to the Yorkshire Dales. The school is part of the Bishop Wheeler Catholic Academy Trust which consists of the high school and 9 primary schools. The July 2019 Section 48 inspection and November 2014 Ofsted inspection judged St Mary’s as an outstanding school. We became a Teaching School in October 2015 and a National Support School in September 2017.
