What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher of Chemistry to this selective school which has been FIVE times judged OUTSTANDING by OFSTED, the most recent Inspection being November 2022.

The successful candidate will join a vibrant and thriving Science Department and will teach from Year 7 to Sixth Form. GCSE and A Level Science courses are well established and examination results are outstanding. The majority of students at KS4 opt for Separate Sciences and Chemistry is amongst the most popular and successful of subjects at A Level.

This opportunity would ideally suit someone who would enjoy teaching well-motivated and intelligent pupils in an academic school which is committed to the ideals of Catholic education.
