What skills and experience we're looking for

This academic year, we have four groups of students who are studying Computer Science in years 10 and 11, using the OCR J277 specification. This specialist subject interest continues into the Associated Sixth Form with 39 students currently studying Advanced Level AQA Computer Science in addition to two groups of students taking Level 3 Cambridge Technical in IT.

There are approximately 2000 students on roll at St Aidan’s Church of England High School. Just over 1000 students make up the Associated Sixth Form with St John Fisher Catholic High School, with whom the Department enjoys an excellent working relationship.

The successful candidate will be able to offer teaching of Computer Science and ICT up to advanced level and wish to contribute to the wider life of the school.
