We are looking for a teacher of Computer Science and ICT, commencing in January 2020. We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring classroom practitioner. We offer an exciting opportunity to enhance an already highly successful and motivated team.

Essential educational requirements
A strong and secure subject knowledge in Computer Science for Key Stage 3 & 4.
A strong and secure subject knowledge in ICT up to GCSE.
A good understanding of national developments affecting the Computer Science and ICT curriculum.
A teaching qualification together with Qualified Teacher Status - (QTS).
A good honours degree.
Essential skills and experience
Recent and relevant teaching experience in employment or training for Computer Science.
Experience of assessment at Key Stage 3 and 4.
Able to use a range of teaching and learning strategies.
An understanding of how Assessment for Learning can improve student performance.
Able to use student performance data to raise standards .
Able to work independent and collaboratively as a member of a team.
Willingness to take on and try new approaches and ideas.
Able to build positive relationships with students.
Communicate high expectations to all students.
Willing to share good practice across the department.
