Outwood Academy Foxhills, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire is within easy reach of Lincoln, Grimsby and the east of Doncaster. It’s most recent Ofsted inspection in November 2019 maintained the grading of Good with Outstanding for Leadership and Management.
We are looking to appoint a teacher of Computer Science. The post is a key appointment in terms of enhancing and ensuring the positive life chances for our students through success and achievement.

As such we are keen to recruit a dedicated and ambitious professional who will add value to our Academy in both academic terms and through involvement in the fabric of learning and success beyond the classroom.

The person we are seeking to appoint will be dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated in making the best use of the state of the art facilities our Trust can offer in order to develop the life chances of our young people through inspirational and successful Computer Science teaching.

We have a great training package for NQTs and teachers new to the academy including weekly professional development time and further programmes free through the Outwood Institute of Education. We invest in you so you invest in our students.

Outwood Academy Foxhills (formerly Invenio Academy) opened on 1st September 2014, sponsored by Outwood Grange Academies Trust. Outwood Grange Academy founded the Trust to lead the improvement of other schools in the North East of England. Prior to its conversion, the former Invenio Academy had been placed in Special Measures following an Ofsted Inspection In January 2014. Following a successful Ofsted Inspection in January 2016, Outwood Academy Foxhills was awarded National Support School status, This was in recognition of the remarkable journey made by the school with the support of its students, staff, parents/carers and governors. In 2018 the Academy celebrated results with students gaining 45.6% 5+ and 62% 4+ in English & Maths. We are committed to providing high standards of education for students.
