Teacher of Computer Science job summary
“To me, programming is more than an important practical art. It is also a gigantic undertaking in the foundations of knowledge.” – Grace Hopper, computer science pioneer
We need talented a teacher of computer science to join our successful team. We need someone who loves their subject: someone who loves it so much that they are determined to instil this love in their pupils and grow the next generation of computer science geeks.
Whether you are relatively new in your career or you have been teaching for decades, to really inspire the next generation you need an environment with the right conditions. You need an environment where pupils genuinely want to learn. An environment in which your colleagues are as geeky about your subject as you are.
The successful candidate will be joining us at an exciting time in the school’s journey. The school joined the Matrix Academy Trust in May 2021 with major changes to systems and structures already implemented the school is on an upward trajectory. As the school continues to go from strength to strength we need to build more capacity in this department.
