What skills and experience we're looking for
*Good Honours Degree or equivalent
*Qualified Teacher Status or on a journey towards qualification
*Recent relevant in-service training
*Strong classroom practitioner with the potential to develop personal teaching excellence.
*Excellent understanding of highly effective pedagogy
*Secure knowledge of Programmes of Study for Computer Science across Key Stage 3 and 4
*Experience of a range of approaches to teaching and learning that promote positive studentrelationships and high achievement in an inclusive environment
*An understanding in the use of assessment and attainment information to improve practiceand raise standards
*An understanding of the needs of students and how to remove barriers to learning
*A knowledge of successful intervention strategies
*An understanding of the welfare of young people in all respects and the issues surroundingthe safeguarding of children and young people
*Ability to teach an additional subject may be beneficial
