The Minster School is the lead school in the Minster Trust for Education (MITRE), a multi-academy trust that currently consists of seven schools.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious, and creative teacher to join our computing faculty. You will join a highly successful school, with an expectation to strive for excellence at every opportunity, commit to sharing practice with others. Whilst this post is advertised as full-time, we can be flexible and would consider applications from candidates wishing to work part-time.

The successful candidate will:

• be an excellent classroom teacher able to teach throughout the age and ability range (Key Stage 3, 4 and 5)

• be passionate about Computer Science and IT and be able to inspire a similar enthusiasm in our students

• be committed to raising the attainment of all students, particularly those who are disadvantaged

• demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills

• be committed to supporting and contributing to our school ethos of Succeeding Together and the values of Wisdom, Optimism, Resilience, Kindness and Service
