1. Ability to teach Computing to KS3 and KS4
2. Excellent organisational skills
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills
4. Ability to motivate and inspire students
5. Excellent classroom teacher and interested in developing teaching across subject boundaries
6. Ideas about how to develop personalised learning and how to create independent learners
7. Commitment to working with local primary and secondary schools and community organisations
8. Clear understanding of ICT and E-learning and their application in teaching and learning
9. Clear understanding of how to develop school ethos
10. Evidence of collaborative approaches to work (team player) but also able to work independently
11. Sense of humour, flexibility and ability to remain positive at all times
12. Commitment to helping develop and deliver enrichment experiences for all students

Further details about the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an outstanding and highly motivated Teacher of Computing to join our School from September 2024 on a part time contract. If you are able to also teach Business or MFL this position could be considered on a full time basis.
The successful candidate will be required to deliver high quality lessons, engage, challenge and inspire our students to learn about themselves by allowing them to reflect on their own beliefs and ideas, and developing a knowledge of and respect for other people’s views. The post holder will be passionate about the subject and will be able to develop exciting and engaging learning experiences across all year groups. They should have a strong sense of team work and a willingness to contribute and a desire to improve their own and the faculty’s practice.
