Teacher of Computing and Business job summary
Essa Academy Computing and Business faculty are seeking to recruit a dynamic, talented individual who believes that all students can succeed. The successful candidate will be joining a unique, supportive, happy faculty and will work alongside dedicated, forward thinking practitioners. Our vision is for all students to gain a unique insight and exposure to technologies and practices used industry-wide in order to prepare our students for careers in the field of Digital Technology and Business. Our carefully planned curriculum enables our students to access fun, informative and thought provoking lessons, through a variety of delivery methods and experiences to interest and inspire our learners. We firmly believe that by providing these “hooks” to learning in Computing and Business, the impact is far wider reaching than just improving educational outcomes; it can inspire our future innovators and entrepreneurs, which in turn can truly change the lives of our students for the better.
The successful candidate will be a passionate and inspirational teacher with a real desire to build resilience in their students and improve teaching and learning. Upholding our high standards and a commitment to achieving excellent results for our students is essential. To allow teachers to do this effectively, we offer 20% non-contact time. We appreciate the importance of setting time aside to joint plan with colleagues. We are looking for a team player and we truly believe that “There is little success where there is little laughter.”
Ideally, the successful candidate will be a newly qualified or mainscale teacher with a thirst for progression.
Our curriculum engages students of all abilities. We strive to create a love of learning and we are committed to developing the holistic child. Our curriculum incorporates careers and real-life problems and addresses the needs of all our students across a range of abilities.
This role is initially offered on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
