We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, inspirational, and motivated teacher of ICT & Computing to join our team of 4 teachers who will be able to motivate, enthuse, excite, and challenge students to produce the highest quality work and achieve high academic standards. Candidates must be able to teach the full age and ability range, ideally including A- Level. Computer Science is a popular and growing subject at the school and we teach GCSE Computer Science and will be starting A=Level computing in September 2021. We also teach Creative i-media at KS4, and Cambridge Technicals in IT at KS5. The department also delivers NCFE Business and Enterprise at KS4 and Business A-Level at KS5.
Longbenton High School has a new headteacher and deputy headteacher, a growing school roll and a bright future. We have a fantastic new building with outstanding facilities, in North Tyneside on the eastern outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne, with great transport links.
