What skills and experience we're looking for
The teacher will be delivering our KS3 ICT and Computing Curriculum and discrete ICT/Computing qualifications. At present we deliver ICT qualifications in conjunction with WJEC, ASDAN and NCFE boards from levels Entry 1 to Level 2.We are looking to develop our curriculum in the coming years to combine ICT and Computing in a functional and meaningful way for our learners. We want our students to be equipped with the skills to thrive and be safe in a technology rich society. We are excited to identify how technological developments can support the refinements of the curriculum to utilise emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are ambitious for themselves and the students they serve.
- Are established Computing or ICT teachers, with a love of their subject and a track record of delivering results that surpass expectation.
- Understand changes in Computing and ICT in education and have the vision needed to support the curriculum development The Westminster School
- Have experience of developing an exciting curriculum that suits every type of learner.
