What skills and experience we're looking for
Computer Science at Hazelwick
• Computer Science is taught to all students at Key Stage 3
• IT and Computer Science are offered as option subjects at KS4 & KS5 – the opportunity to teach both subjects at KS5 will be available for suitable candidates
For September 2024 we are looking for:
• a positive teacher who can enthuse, motivate and engage students and is committed to excellence and high student achievement
• a teacher who is able to teach KS3 and KS4. The ability to teach KS5 now or in the future is desirable
• a teacher with a passion for working with young people and a perseverance to make a difference to them and their future
• a teacher with a focus on their own professional development and a drive to work with us to become the best teacher they can be
• applications from ECTs are welcome, who would benefit from our highly-praised professional studies and support programme.

Hazelwick is a high achieving and oversubscribed 11-18 mixed secondary school with 1500 students in Years 7 – 11 and 383 students in the 6th form.
