St Peter’s Middle School is on an exciting upward trajectory of rapid school improvement. We maintained our Ofsted 'Good' status in 2023 and SIAMS recognised the school as ‘Good’ in 2019. We are rightly very proud of our achievements. In April 2021 we opened our new Key Stage 2 facility following a multi-million pound investment from the local authority. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and capable computing and maths teacher to deliver computing across KS2 and KS3 with the ability to teach mathematics up to Year 8 for a September 2025 start.
The successful candidate will be:
Knowledgeable in computing and mathematics
Capable of delivering effective lessons to all learners in a class
Adaptable enough to deliver a broad range of topics
Able to deliver Maths to KS3
Have the enthusiasm and drive to develop as a professional
Be able to communicate effectively with learners of all abilities and backgrounds
Applications from both newly qualified and well-experienced computing and maths teachers will be welcomed. We also welcome primary trained teachers with a desire to specialise, teaching from Year 5 up to Year 8.
The successful candidate will also have a strong commitment to inclusive principles and be committed to safeguarding children and young people.
