At Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College everything we do is “For the Greater Glory of God”. Our vision is that all members of our community play their part in making the world a better place. In order for society to flourish we must be people of good character as described by our college virtues.

Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College is a popular and well respected school which is always oversubscribed. Parents recognise that we are an inclusive community where staff and students aim to live their lives in the image of Christ as far more than merely words on a page.

The successful candidate will join a team of exceptional teachers who are passionate about their subject, supportive of each other and who work collaboratively. You will join a forward-thinking curriculum area that currently offers Computer Science, Creative iMedia and Enterprise & Marketing at KS4, achieving outstanding outcomes for students. We are seeking a candidate who is dynamic and enthusiastic, with experience of teaching Computer Science to KS3 and KS4. An ability to teach Creative iMedia although not essential would be desirable. The department is an active member of CAS, promoting and valuing ongoing professional development to enhance teachers’ knowledge and to ensure our curriculum is of the highest standard.

In return our college can offer you a welcoming and inclusive environment with a culture of openness and transparency.
