What skills and experience we're looking for

The Teaching Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and outstanding Teacher of Computing. The ideal candidate would have extensive knowledge of computing at primary level, and beyond.

We are looking for a candidate who will demonstrate considerable impact in raising standards of student progress across our school in Computing. You will be able to demonstrate excellence in the management and development of an interesting and challenging Computing curriculum. Lessons will take place in one of our ICT suites based here within the school. Candidates with prior experience of Computing or relevant qualifications will be considered favourably. Our curricular structure is different to many other primary schools; the school is based around subjects with specialist teachers providing expert subject knowledge to ensure pupils’ progress is exceptional. Our staff tend to mainly teach their specialist subjects and we believe this allows our pupils to greatly deepen their knowledge and understanding of key areas and this fully prepares them for their transition to secondary school. You may also have the opportunity to teach other subjects in the school. Visits to the school are highly encouraged, as are early applications.

For further information about the school, please visit our website at www.elps.co.uk. If you have any questions or queries, please don’t hesitate to contact us at vacancies@elps.co.uk.

Wembley Multi-Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure. We are an equal opportunities employer and we welcome all applicants. Early applications are encouraged and the Trust reserves the right to withdraw this post should an appointment be made early.

If you are keen to develop as an outstanding leader or practitioner, then we would love to hear from you.

Commitment to safeguarding
