The Faculty of Applied Learning
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic teacher to join our team in the Computing Science department, part of the Applied Learning Faculty. Computer Science is a very popular subject and is taught at all key stages, including A level. We wish to appoint a colleague who is passionate about the subject and is able to enthuse and motivate our highly ambitious students. Experience of teaching vocational qualifications and more than one programming language would be desirable
The role offers the opportunity for a motivated and passionate teacher to make the most of our diverse student body, promoting a love of learning and a love for Computer Science. We are a collaborative team, sharing good practice and resourcing to provide the best learning experience for our students and foster an enquiring mind. The school has a strong culture of support and friendship and we are looking forward to welcoming a new colleague into our team. This vacancy is suitable for an NQT or someone looking to broaden their teaching experience.
The Faculty comprises of Computer Science, Business Studies and Health & Social Care. Associate Heads of Faculty oversee each of the principal subject areas and there is an enthusiastic and committed team of over 12 teachers.
