Teacher of Computing job summary

 We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Teaching of Computer Science and ICT who is passionate about their subject and able to make a positive contribution to the learning experiences of our students.  Computing is a very popular subject at Oakmoor with an excellent track record of success. The Department is well resourced with 2 dedicated Computer Suites and the latest software installed to support an engaging curriculum for our Students. 

The lessons we teach are dynamic, varied and interesting, with all students being challenged in a supportive environment. Teachers individualise their own lessons within the curriculum strand being taught.  You will be teaching across the age and attainment range at both Key Stage 3 and 4 in an environment where students are well behaved and keen to do well.  Computer Science and iMedia are popular Key Stage 4 options with around a third of each cohort studying one or both courses in years 9, 10 and 11. 

Applications from Newly Qualified Teachers or experienced teachers are encouraged.  We are looking for someone who has excellent subject knowledge and strong teaching skills.
