Teacher of Computing job summary
We are looking for a well-qualified, inspiring, and forward-thinking teacher who is passionate about Computing and can deliver outstanding lessons across the ability range. This post would suit a highly motivated teacher who can stimulate our students. As a department we are dedicated to the development of inspirational lessons and are always searching for new and innovative ways to motivate students to achieve their full potential. We would welcome a candidate who is keen to share new ideas, approaches, and resources.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed, energetic, and aspirational teacher to join a thriving school which was rated ‘good’ by Ofsted in May 2019 with the Sixth Form graded as ‘outstanding’. The external Summer 2022 exams results place the main school in the top 25% of Secondary schools in the country and the Sixth Form in the top 10%. As a school we are committed to comprehensive education and ‘Learning for Life’ is at the heart of all we do.

The Burgate School and Sixth Form is a very successful and popular 11 – 18 mixed comprehensive school with an excellent reputation in the local community for very high educational standards.
