What skills and experience we're looking for
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of KS5 Criminologyto join The Basildon Upper Academy, as part of a supportive Social Science Faculty, on a one year fixed term contract (maternity cover).
Our academy operates across two sites.The Lower Academy specialises in the teaching of our Key Stage 3 students, whilst The Upper Academy specialises in teaching Key Stage 4 and 5.This appointed candidate will begin their BA career at the Basildon Upper Academy, where Criminology is a popular option in our thriving sixth form.
The post is open to teachers of all levels of experience and we welcome applications from ECTs.
Criminology is an advanced A level pathway and sits alongside Psychology within a thriving Social Science Department.
