Teacher of D&T job summary
We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Design Technology to join us from September 2024 to join the Art and Design team, we welcome applications from candidates looking for a full time or part time role.
The post would suit an experienced or newly qualified teacher who is committed to teaching at the highest standard and raising the aspirations and achievements of our students.
The role will include the teaching of Design & Technology across KS3 – KS4 and this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to bring their passion and skills to Wolgarston.
Flexibility within the timetable will allow us to develop the curriculum area that is best suited to the successful candidate’s skills and area of specialism. All specialisms are welcome for example Resistant Materials, Graphics, Textiles and or Food.
As a Teacher of Design and Technology, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our students. The role would be suitable for any enthusiastic teacher who has enthusiasm of their subject and values academic excellence.
The successful candidate will uphold Wolgarston's 100% ethos, have the ability to deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning.
This is a permanent role starting September 2024, we welcome applications from candidates looking for full time or part time hours offering Main Pay/Upper Pay Scale commensurate with experience + We understand the importance of attracting and retaining top talent, which is why we're offering an recruitment and retention package worth £4000 on top of your annual salary. This includes a payment of £1500 on your start date, with an additional payment of £1500 on the 1st anniversary of your start date and £1000 on the 2nd anniversary.
