What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated teacher of Dance to join our successful & talented Performing Arts faculty (the ability to teach Drama would be advantageous). Early Careers Teachers are welcome to apply. We offer a comprehensive induction programme, including regular subject specific mentoring & whole school training. The successful candidate will be committed to ensuring excellent outcomes for every student.

Dance is taught as part of the Performing Arts faculty, consisting of Drama, Music & Dance GCSEs. The successful candidate will be required to teach Dance at Key Stages 3 & 4, with some KS5 teaching.

Dance is a popular subject that is taught from Key Stage 3–5, with students following the AQA specification for GCSE and A level at Key Stage 5. The faculty also offers a vibrant enrichment programme outside of the classroom, including successfully competing in the national competition ‘Dance Live’.
