Teacher of Dance & Drama (fixed term) job summary

Priory is a very successful school with an excellent reputation. The school is consistently oversubscribed and has a genuinely comprehensive intake. The Governors of this successful school seek to appoint:

A well-qualified, innovative and enthusiastic temporary Teacher of Dance and Drama with a willingness and ability to teach Drama at KS3. Dance and Drama are part of the vibrant Visual & Performing Arts Curriculum Area that also includes Art, Photography and Music.

A successful candidate will have the imagination, commitment and enthusiasm to challenge and inspire students to enjoy the study and performance of Dance. An ability to teach Dance at KS3 is essential; an ability to teach KS4 is desirable. Annual musical productions and a rich extra-curricular programme are well established and a successful candidate will be expected to build on this.

This is a temporary, full-time position to start in September 2020 until 31 August 2021. The salary range is Teachers Main/Upper Pay Scale, £24,373 to £40,490.
