Teacher of Dance & Drama job summary
Your Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated newly qualified or experienced teacher of Dance and/or Drama who can plan, teach, and assess their specialism from KS3 to KS5. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils. The school is looking for an exceptional teacher who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for all pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Enthusiasm and engagement in the wide range of extra-curricular opportunities, currently on offer, is growing in the Performing Arts at Trinity. Your enthusiasm, commitment and flexibility will be paramount therefore, to the continued success and engagement of pupils.
What you will need to succeed:
You will need to exhibit a passion for your subject and radiate creativity and enthusiasm in the classroom. You will have high expectations of yourself and the pupils, and demonstrate a flexible approach to working with other members of staff. You will be committed to improving the learning outcomes for all pupils in the school. A successful candidate would ideally be a dance and/or drama specialist equipped with the knowledge and skills required to teach KS3, KS4 and KS5 (BTEC) whilst radiating creativity and enthusiasm in the classroom. You will have high expectations of yourself, and the pupils, and be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to working with other members of staff. You will be committed to improving the learning outcomes for all pupils in the school.
