What skills and experience we're looking for
The North School is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher to join our successful Performing Arts department as a dance teacher covering maternity leave. The role welcomes applications from either Early Careers Teachers or more experienced teachers.
The Performing Arts department is an integral part of our school community, both within the curriculum where music, dance and drama are offered to KS3 and KS4 students, as well as in the wider school community. There are a wide range of opportunities for students outside the classroom, including theatre trips, visits to professional companies, clubs and the school's shows, performances and concerts.
We therefore seek well-qualified, highly skilled, and enthusiastic individuals, who have the highest of expectations of both themselves, the staff and the students in their classes. You should possess excellent communication and organisational skills, be hard-working and flexible. We want professionals who can contribute to the school’s overall success, displaying energy and enthusiasm across aspects of school life.
