Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a well-qualified, talented and inspiring Teacher of Dance to join this vibrant department within the Performing Arts faculty, for two terms to cover a maternity leave. This post is open to NQTs and experienced teachers who are able to teach across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5. The school has an excellent reputation for Performing Arts Productions and the Dance department plays a key role in encouraging our students to immerse themselves in the opportunities on offer via our extensive extra-curricular programme.
The successful candidate will be required to plan and deliver lessons to all ages and abilities and must be able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and teach across a range of dance forms.

About Weatherhead High School
Weatherhead High School is a large 11 - 18 oversubscribed girls’ comprehensive school with 1640 students on roll. There is an excellent mixed Sixth Form with approximately 370 students. We are oversubscribed on intake with an average number of 260 students in each year group.
