Teacher of Dance (maternity cover) job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a well-qualified, talented and inspiring Teacher of Dance to join this vibrant department within the Performing Arts faculty, for one and a half terms to cover a maternity leave. This post is open to ECT’s and experienced teachers who are able to teach across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5. The school has an excellent reputation for Performing Arts Productions and the Dance department plays a key role in encouraging our students to immerse themselves in the opportunities on offer via our extensive extra-curricular programme.

The successful candidate will be required to plan and deliver lessons to all ages and abilities and must be able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and teach across a range of dance forms.
