The role:

We are looking for a dedicated teacher of Design & Technology to join our large, vibrant and successful Art, Design & Technology Faculty.

This is a rare opportunity for someone to learn and develop their expertise alongside our talented and confident Ashfield ADT team of over 30 specialist teachers and technicians.

We teach a full range of Level2/GCSE and L3/A Level courses at Ashfield including Design and Technology, Resistant Materials, Food Technology, Engineering and Textiles. We would welcome applications from teachers of any of the Design and Technology specialisms.

The successful candidate will be a team player, capable of building excellent relationships with students and staff and contributing to an outstanding team and curriculum.

The post would equally suit a confident and ambitious ECT or an experienced teacher with a desire to teach Design and Technology in a warm, welcoming and nurturing setting.

The person:

The successful candidate will be able to communicate their passion for their subject with their students. They will be enthusiastic and have a commitment to the collaborative approach of the team and to deliver excellent outcomes for students. Applicants must be able to attend the school in person if selected for interview.
