What skills and experience we're looking for
Thank you for expressing an interest in the post of Teacher of Design and Technology at Copthall School.

We are looking to recruit a part time Teacher of Design and Technology who will join a highly skilled, energetic and passionate team, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The successful candidate will be confident to deliver content at Key Stages 3 and 4 and will ideally have some experience of Design and Technology. They will be a student-centred teacher who is dedicated and will build positive relationships with our amazing young people so that they can inspire a love of learning and a passion for Design and Technology both in and outside of the classroom.

Candidates will need to demonstrate:
- A commitment to our School Values
- Have QTS and a degree or a similar related Design Technology related qualification
- Possess recent experience of teaching Design Technology/Product Design to students in KS3-KS4
- The ability to enthuse students with a love of Design and Technology
- Excellent teaching practices
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and families
- A commitment to, and be passionate about, maintaining and developing high standards of achievement for learners of all abilities across all Key Stages
- A commitment to our ethos of high expectations and no excuses with the belief that every student can succeed
- The resolve to make a real difference to the lives of students
