Teacher of Design and Technology job summary
Thank you very much for your interest in our vacancy. We are looking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and successful Teacher to join our thriving, oversubscribed and outstanding all-through school. NQTs are also invited to apply. Successful candidates will be required to teach Design Technology across Key Stage 3 and 4. The school’s aim is “Excellence for All” and the governors wish to appoint candidates of significant ability and enthusiasm, aware of and stimulated by the challenges and potential of a successful multi-ethnic coeducational school. In this role, you will be required to:
● monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/ Form Tutor
● facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
● contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
● share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.

Dunraven is a 4-18, All Through School, recently designated as a National Teaching School which recognises the effort that the school team puts in to making lessons enjoyable and effective for our young people. Equally, the visit of OFSTED in October 2014 which judged Dunraven as ‘outstanding’ in every category was an important public marker of our on-going journey to achieve ‘Excellence for All’. In 2016, Dunraven Educational Trust was formed and now includes Dunraven All Through, Van Gogh Primary and Goldfinch Primary.
