An opportunity to join our dedicated and passionate Creative Arts & Industry Team in one of the largest secondary schools within Bristol.

The Design & Technology team is passionate about delivering a stimulating curriculum through engaging lessons which meet our expectation of “Every Lesson, Every Day, Good or Better”.
We require a vibrant teacher of Design & Technology to join this energetic and committed group of professionals. You will need expertise in delivering lessons in 3D Design, Construction and Food and Nutrition. You should be passionate about Design & Technology and be single minded in your determination to enthuse students, leading to the highest possible outcomes. You will have your own designated classroom and will be encouraged to maximise its potential as a learning resource through a creative and imaginative learning environment.
Although this role is advertised with a start date of September 2022 the Academy would be willing to discuss an earlier start if necessary.
We work hard to invest in the potential of new entrants to the profession. NQT’s are very well supported in the Academy with weekly meetings focused on teaching and learning which are both vibrant and stimulating. Through your individual professional mentor you will receive high quality individual support and challenge to ensure that your teaching career gets off to the very best start.
