Teacher of Design and Technology job summary

We require an enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher of Design and Technology. The post would suit either a Newly Qualified Teacher entering the profession or a more experienced candidate.

Design and Technology at St Birinus operates within the broader structure of the Art, Design and Technology Faculty, which is led by a very experienced Head of Faculty whose transformational leadership has a real impact on student achievement. The Faculty is one of the most successful in the school with Engineering, Resistant Materials, Food, and Graphics courses on offer at Key Stage 4, as well as Art and Photography. In addition, Engineering at A-level is a well-established and popular course with students regularly progressing to Russell Group universities to study Engineering and also accessing high level further training, apprenticeships and employment. The ability to teach Engineering would be advantageous.
