At an exciting time to join The Leigh UTC we have a fantastic opportunity for aTeacher of Design and Technologyto work within our IB World School. This is truly a fantastic position for an enthusiastic and passionate teacher to become part of a well established, highly collaborative and successful team. Our aim is to encourage creativity, independence and critical thinkers in this highly professional and reflective department. The successful candidate will be working within an exceptionally strong STEM focussed academy who have incredible industry standard facilities. Students are encouraged to use various techniques to develop their ideas and projects at KS3, KS4 and KS5. Our Design andTechnology department plays a critical role in the delivery of school wide projects which are essential to our vision for a collaborative approach to education. We are seeking a motivated and passionate Design andTechnology practitioner to strengthen our team even further and inspire our incredible students. We can be receptive to teachers joining us at varying stages in their career; whether you are a recently qualified teacher or one who has many years teaching experience, we can ensure that you are developed within the department and wider school.
