Teacher of Design and Technology job summary
The Orme Academy is seeking to appoint an inspirational and innovative thinker to our Design and Technology department. The successful candidate will have an absolute commitment to raising standards of achievement, developing strong progression in students’ learning and a desire to support the young people in all areas of their education. We welcome applicants that have the ability to teach Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4. This post would suit an experienced teacher or an NQT. All students at KS3 study a range of Design and Technology disciplines, including Food Technology. At KS4, students have varied options in the department as we currently offer GCSE Design and Technology, Vocational Award in Construction, GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition, as well as CamNat in Health and Social Care. This is an exciting opportunity as we expand our provision in Design and Technology.
