What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and inspiring Teacher of Design Technology and Art / Photography to join our friendly and successful department. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner with strong subject knowledge to engage and motivate students, fostering creativity and a love of learning across both disciplines.

The successful candidate will be an innovative and forward-thinking teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. They will play a key role in delivering a creative, ambitious, and engaging curriculum that supports students of all abilities to achieve their full potential. Teaching across a range of age groups, the post holder will nurture students’ creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical expertise in both Art and Design Technology.

Working closely with colleagues within the department and across the wider school community, the successful candidate will contribute to the development of curriculum resources, enrichment opportunities, and whole-school priorities. They will create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment, demonstrate excellent classroom practice, and use effective strategies to ensure students make strong progress and achieve high standards.
