Teacher of Design Technology and Art job summary

Required for September 2022, an enthusiastic and ambitious Teacher to join our Design and Technology department to teach Design and Technology. This position would also suit an Early Careers Teacher. The successful candidate needs to be able to offer Resistant Materials and Food Technology. There may an opportunity to teach Textiles.

The Design and Technology Department consists of 2 Design and Technology teachers, one RMT technician and two part-time Food/Textiles technicians. Department has a record of examination success and has sent many students on to further education, including apprenticeships in Engineering and Design Colleges.

You will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Excellent subject knowledge
• Ability to build positive working relationships with students and staff
• Passion for delivering outstanding teaching practice
